Sustainability on our minds

As a new luxury brand, we are committed to building a better, fairer, fashion industry for the future. All aspects of our business are continuously assessed to ensure that our supply chain is as environmentally and socially responsible as possible. We aim to protect and preserve the planet we live on and will continually innovate to ensure this happens.

Every single one of our bags is handcrafted in our London studio, using traditional artisan craftsmanship to ensure the best possible quality. Our accessories are deliberately and consciously built to last. This local approach to production keeps our carbon footprint down. Our products are produced in limited quantities, allowing us to mitigate future waste.

We work closely with our suppliers, which are all located in Italy. To ensure that our leather is of the best possible quality, as well as ethically sourced, it is certified by the

Leather Working Group, with a gold rating. The Leather Working Group is a not-for-

profit organisation that independently monitors supply chains to allow full transparency. It also supports ethical and sustainable business practices. We only use leather that is a by-product of the meat industry.

Any leather scraps we have left from our pattern cutting are crafted into the logos for our dust bags, but our long-term aim is to utilise them for a small goods range in our next product launch. We want to make sure no scrap of leather is wasted - and instead goes into a circular form of production.

We hope to inspire you - our customers - to help us too. Our bags are timeless, expertly crafted and built to last for years to come. Swap them with friends, inspire others with our conscious, passionate and joyful designs - or give them a life elsewhere by selling them on authorised resale platforms such as Vestiaire Collective. An Alexandra Klimek bag will bring joy for life.
